Acceptance Test Technician Certification Providers
As of July 1, 2014, only certified Acceptance Test Technicians are permitted to perform and document acceptance testing for lighting control installations.
Technicians have been required to perform acceptance testing for nonresidential buildings since the enforcement of the 2005 Building Energy Efficiency Standards. Since the enforcement of the 2013 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, technicians have had the opportunity to become trained and certified in performing and documenting acceptance testing for lighting controls and mechanical systems for nonresidential buildings.
The following Acceptance Test Technician Certification Providers have been approved by the Energy Commission and provide training, certification, and oversight functions for installation technicians as well as contact information and current certification status for certified acceptance test technicians.
