2014-2015 Investment Plan Update for the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program
Investment Plan & Updates
The California Energy Commission must prepare and adopt an Investment Plan Update for the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program to determine the funding priorities and opportunities and describe how program funding will be used to complement other public and private investments.
The Energy Commission develops the Investment Plan in coordination with an Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee is composed of individuals from a wide range of interests that can provide advice and guidance to the Energy Commission. By law, the Advisory Committee must include, but is not limited to: representatives of fuel and vehicle technology consortia, labor organizations, environmental organizations, community-based justice and public health organizations, recreational boaters, consumer advocates, academic institutions, workforce training groups, and private industry as well as representatives from the Resources Agency; the Business, Transportation and Housing Agency; the Labor and Workforce Development Agency; and the California Environmental Protection Agency. See the Advisory Committee Members
The Investment Plan is developed in an open and public manner, with regularly scheduled public meetings of the Advisory Committee that are subject to the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. The Energy Commission will provide proper notice of and an agenda for all Advisory Committee meetings and ensure that stakeholders and the public have ample opportunity to provide written and oral comment. View meeting notices and transcripts.
The 2014-2015 Investment Plan Update will be the sixth investment plan adopted by the Energy Commission.
