Title 20 and Power Plant Site Certification and Designation of Transmission Corridor Zones
Portions of Title 20 of the California Code of Regulations contain the statutes relating to power plant siting certification. The regulations refer frequently and cite the Warren-Alquist Energy Resources Conservation and Development Act. Chapter 6 of the Warren-Alquist Act deals specifically with Power Facility and Site Certification.

Title 20 and Appliance Efficiency
California's Appliance Efficiency Regulations were established in 1976 in response to a legislative mandate to reduce California's energy consumption. The regulations are updated periodically to allow consideration and possible incorporation of new energy efficiency technologies and methods.
