DRIVING TO CLEANER TRANSPORTATION
ONTARIO HYDROGEN REFUELING STATION

A critical station in the hydrogen refueling network being developed to support zero-emission fuel cell electric vehicles.

The California Energy Commission awarded Ontario CNG Station Inc. $2,125,000 to install a hydrogen fueling station in Ontario, California. This station is comprised of a 65 kilograms per day (kg/day) electrolyzer, supplemented by delivery of 100% renewable hydrogen, which together will provide 100kg/day dispensing capability.

In addition, this is the first fueling station in Southern California to provide all major alternative transportation fuels, including hydrogen, biofuel, compressed natural gas (CNG), and electric vehicle charging stations.

This station is a part of a larger network of hydrogen refueling stations the Energy Commission is funding to ensure that hydrogen fuel is convenient and close to the daily driving routes and patterns of the first wave of fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) drivers.
